Recall that "proactive renewal" began on September 7th, but seems like new MKB got handed out to manufacturers as early as July 7th, AND disks with the new MKB were authored as early as August 3rd. At the same time, two disks were authored as late as October 8th.

One would think so yes. Been wondering about this myself aswell. Guess lots of people are using AnyDVD and as a result not posting keys here anymore :(
Anyway, does anyone have the keys for the Harry Potter series (US)? Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire (all MKB v4 discs). If anyone has those please posts them.

Troy is the first release, not the Director's Cut
Blade Runner is the 5-disc Collector's Edition, discs 2 and 4 are DVDs.
Btw: the list should be maintained in DumpHD_0.4 format, ordered by date. (The MKB version is in mkbrom.aacs file at offset +08, four bytes, big-endian) What do you say guys?
Also for movies with several editions, please state which one it is; see Troy, Fifth Element or Full Metal Jacket.

@derbeDeus,
Great first port indeed! Although a few keys had already been posted before, the MKBv4 keys certainly are not. May I ask how you acquired them? If the method will be compromised by revealing it, then please don't answer.

That certainly is a nice gesture, I appreciate it.
But I as much as we'd like to hide the keys - there's no law against fiddeling them out, so...

Why? Do members have to keep keys quiet so Slysoft can make sales? That is ridiculous!
Anyway, please keep this thread to its intended use.

Obviously he means that they ripped the keys out of AnyDVD ... otherwise it would be ridiculous indeed.

Thanks :)
The keys that were already posted have date field now. I like the info to be complete ;) That's why I consider it would be better to use the DumpHD_0.4 format...
I didn't use AnyDVD to get these keys. I'm not sure that I should reveal the method just yet. Of course I'm trying to get the processing key and I learnt a lot about aacs lately, much thanks to Arnezami and the other guys. If you think it helps I can post the media keys for the mkbv4 titles.

could you post how you're getting the mkvb4 keys? The only reason I ask is because I have Transformers US, and a couple other HD DVD's that haven't had keys found for them yet. Thanks!

Just for the record, it's been discussed elsewhere that Alvin and the Chipmunks UK and AvP2 Requiem UK both have a new MKB. And according to the information, derbeDeus, PowerDVD 7.3 was able to play them. :)

No, not yet, but, that's off topic for this thread. I just wanted them to know that a new MKB was just released.

Zotty - did you get the v4 files the same way as derbeDeus? Or did libaacs get it figured out?
Nope, lets' just say a potential processing key landed in my lap. Throw in a known media key of a disc you own (need corresponding MKB) and a little tool is born that calculates possible results based on the subset differences and verification data. Once there's a match you've got the corresponding UV number and Media Key Data record.
Feed those numbers to libaacs and voila! Pop in a random MKB v4 disc and you've got a decrypted v4 disc ;)

Aren't those BR only? If there's a MKB v5 HD DVD I'll need to place an order asap hehe

Too bad, really wanted one last new HD DVD MKB. Oh well, can't have everything.
Just edited my original post with v4 keys to the new cfg format (link: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1123536#post1123536).

A small note from my side, yyyy-mm-dd is NOT a valid date for DumpHD 1.2 format. If you don't have a date simply omit the date section at all or use the dummy date 0000-00-00, otherwise DumpHD will complain about an invalid entry. And an old BackupHDDVD date entry with a four letter year is also not allowed.

Woops, I stand corrected. Fixed!
To make up for it here's another v4 key ;)

This thread is pretty dead by now, but to honor the work of the people who contributed to it i collected all the keys posted here, corrected the syntactically wrong entries, removed all duplicates and put all remaining ones in one file.
This file is alphabetically sorted after the title and is ready to be used by DumpHD 0.61 or later.
Date of release: 2010-01-03
Number of entries: 299
:)
Thanks KenD00 for all your hard work. I found another HD not in here yet.

@KenD00
Is there a reason "BackupHDDVD GUI" rejects the format of the keys included in the .CFG file zipped in your post #346 here?
What, if anything, can be done to overcome this?
KenD00
1st July 2009, 04:14
Almost two years ago i extended the original key format because it wasn't "flexible" enough and changed the date format and handling (its optional now) which the former tools can't handle. IIRC the old format was like this
<DISC ID> = <MOVIE TITLE> | V OR T | <MM/DD/YY> | <VUK> OR <TKNR-TK [ | TKNR-TK ... ]>
You can convert the current format into the old one by discarding any key information from an entry but one (VUK or TK) and by changing the date format. This does only work for HD-DVD keys, the old BD keys use another DISC ID.

Thanks for the info - and I only need it regarding HD-DVDs.
BTW, you say:changed the date format and handling (its optional now) which the former tools can't handleIs there a GUI version of a current tool - and, if so, a link please?
