I think we should start to include cmac value at the end
Or include it with your post somewhere, for use later.
This a good interim way until we all switch over to using cmac only.
I tested that backuphddvd don't have any problem with extra text at the end.
Kink Kong would look like this
0E75082678AAD5CD4410A28A662D6832D21EB325=King Kong |V|09/18/06| 802F78B1B20D1183638D84E1A96D6EDD | 30F8DC87B137A1607C7F2A731FF7B6BC
Open the VTKF000.AACS with winhex, edit/define block use 84 and 93
edit/copy block/hex values (now in clipboard)
I will update my tiltesorter program to output to xml format
that is talked about here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=121002) when enough titles have the included cmac's
Update: I created a javascript program that will display the cmac value in hex.
GetCMAC.hta v0.92 (http://home.comcast.net/~tony1717/GetCMAC.hta)
It will check every drive from B: to Z: to find the AACS folder
It now also shows disc name and date in a |V|MM/DD/YY| format.

tonyp12 i have tested your javascript program with my 2 HDDVDs and i get different values.
KING KONG EUROPE
winhex: D4C1012F9BD060B43CE881CCB0FA51C7
java: D4C112F9BD060B43CE881CCB0FA51C7

winhex: 6650F052B8FFE1DE1BBBE0616FDE0E51
java: 6650F052B8FFE1DE1BBBE0616FDEE51
can you check your javascript, i think it's missing some zeros?

Thanks for the bug report.
It's the dec2hex converter that did not add a prevailing 0 to values 15 or under (=F)
it's hard to see that error as the output are not spaced up in pairs. (king kong-usa did only have values over 15)
I need to modify it (done)

TitleSorter and GetCMAC have been merged.
New thread have been started on it.

GetCMAC v0.93 (http://home.comcast.net/~tony1717/GetCMAC.hta) now lets you start backuphddvd v100
from desktop.
It expects that backuphddvd.cmd is in this folder:
%programfiles%\backuphddvdv100\run
And that you have a folder on D: drive called myhddvd
This can be edited with notepad to your needs.
I think you should create a separate topic for your application.
It will be easier to follow the development and give feedback if it isn't mixed in between new Volume Key's posted.
It will also make this Volume Unique Key topic cleaner.
Maybe the moderators can split your TitleSorter and GetMac postings from this topic into a separate topic.
Great work on this application btw.

I think the MOST important title is the Japanese version of Resident Evil (= Bio Hazzard) HD DVD bundled with the HD-Xa1 Japanese player. Olny very few people in the world can have it. It is the rarest title in the world. If someone has it please post the key.
I also have some rare titles from Japan in HD DVD, but I cannot get the keys because I haven't been able to get WinDVD working on my PC.

I have ALL the HD DVDs released in USA except Music concerts, and ALL the HD DVDs from Japan, french and Spain.
You can see the USA titles on :
www.hidefdigest.com
For the Japanese ones I have for example: The Gift (very rare), Oliver twist, The Pianist, etc.,. see the list on www.cdjapan.co.jp
About France I have: Rambo 1,2,3 ; Total recall, basic Instinct, king Kong 1976, la haine, The Fog (carpenter), The pianist, Elephant Man
And From Spain: Brothers Grimm, Downfall, The pianist
The 3 pianist versions come from 3 different mastering and encoding ; the Japanese is made by Toshiba, French by Studio Canal and Spain by another one; French, german and UK versions of the pianist are the same.
I have a version of WinDVD HD DVD and Blue ray which gives me an error at the end of the setup process; tihis version won't work on any PC where I tryed to install; if I had a working version of it I could find the keys and post them.

Why posting a key of the title will help more people having the content? We are posting key to help people who OWNS the disc to backup the content and/or play the content on their prefered playback system. The key should NOT be used for illegal sharing of copyrighted content.
Btw I have the "Resident Evil" HD-DVD (together with the other Japanese movie in the 2 discs bundle) so posting the key does help me to backup! :D

I think it's good he included cmac value.

I'd suggest keeping the ISO date format that ageha used (because it's a common, standardised format and also since it eliminates any possible confusion about which "part" is the day or month).

I have to read how to get the hash so I can write the complete line to be added in the cfg file of BackupHDDVD
Tons of keys will follow in next days.
Thanks mrazzido....

Probably just so we can experiment for awhile.
But after they get orders from DMCA to stop it will change.
The sponsors for this site does not like to be involved with
shady stuff either.
It's sad fair use has come to this. :(

I did a backup of The Bourne Supremecy. It dumped 18 files totaling 22.7GB. 16 of the files are special features or misc files and they play just fine jusing Cyberlink's player. The last 2 files (one is 13+GB and the other is 5+GB) are the main feature files but whenever I open them using Cyberlink, the player tries to load it and then immediately crashes....
Does anyone know anything I might be able to do to help remedy this situation?

I have been following "Backup HD DVD" threads for weeks, but this is my first post. In my eyes, Muslix64 who is a genius and brave enough to stand up against the mob in suits, all of you guys who continued his work and Doom9's Forum mods who kept everything legal, on topic and in line, providing a ground for all this to take place, you are persons worthy of mentioning in future history books. Thanks enormously for your hard work supporting freedom of the common buyer, who now, thanks to you, can watch his HD DVDs payed with his hard earned money on his equally earned expensive equipment which is devoid of HDCP. Great work! Also, not knowing anything about programming, decryption or the structure of discs and players, I learned a lot thanks to your ingenuity, generosity and patience for people like me. Here is my modest contribution:

@Emon
Even if he did how do you know that the same 103 titles are the same 103 you have?
You could always look at his timestamp when the post was edited to see if he have updated it since your last visit.
Hint:
click on the #1 (http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=933519&postcount=1) in the right upper corner.
Right click, 'select all' and Right click, 'copy'
Start my TitleSorter 1.6 (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=943657#post943657), on the top text field right click, 'paste'
(No need to delete junk text)
press 'Merge & Sort', if it was anything new it will tell you.
@ Trigo
The date format Sould be MM DD YY
I have updated my titlesorter to handle MM DD YYYY , but not single M (for the XML output)

By the way-
I desperately need the feature1+2.map files, the .vti and the .xpl file from the EUR MI:2 Disk1. My youngest kid broke the disk and the ones from disk2/another hd won't work with disk1- stuttering after a few mins.
I anyone could please load them to rapisdshare or mail them 2 me would be very nice. I onw the original 2disk set but the first disk is scratched and left unplayable- I won't do 'piracy' with em.
Thanx and Best regards,

@CapFuture - please read rule 6 and the annoncement at the top of this forum.
We can not swap copyright materials and asking for them is a breach of rule 6. Sadly, unless you have a backup, you will need to purchase the DVD again.

can't find an error. perhaps you got really wrong keys. have you try to find the keys with an vukkeyfinder or by your own in windvd9?

Keys and hash, but no production dates. Used hddvd_vukeyfinder by ape.

[QUOTE=drbanner70;946793]Keys and hash, but no production dates.
I don't think they are production dates, but dates of decryption. At least, the three keys that I have found had the same date, and it was the day I decrypted them...
