Help/Troubleshotting - Install WVC1 Encoder

Hi all !

one user trying to encode with latest beta of AutoMKV (0.60), that add WVC1 encoding using WMCmd.vbs (using build of august 2006) got this error:

Code:
WMCmd.vbs(456, 1) WScript.CreateObject: Could not locate automation class named "WMEncEng.WMEncoder".
he had installed wmp11 ... is enough ? (question: a RC build of wmp11 is ok ? )

i had installed WMFormatSDK.msi, wvc1dmo.exe, WMESE.exe (and msxml6.msi as update) and of course for me is working...

What's the problem ?

if this user try installing the wvc1dmo.exe got the message that "windows media skd is needed..."

thanks for answering

WMCmd.vbs is built on top of WM Encoder 9 SDK. You must install WM Encoder 9 in order for it to work.

WMcmd.vbs updates homepage: http://www.citizeninsomniac.com/WMV/#WMCmd

if you install wmvencoder series 9 AND windows media player 11 is enough. that for sure.

Reinstall wmv encoder 9 and then reinstall windows media player 11

could be a problem of antivirus
