Sorry i wrong, regain audio, like amplydb() filter in avisynth
There is a "DRC" filter in HandBrake:
Apply extra dynamic range compression to the audio, making soft sounds louder.
Would that do it? I didn't try it yet.

Hi Sirber and was the only way to talk to the forum ticle is my first time and I'm dizatualizado about the information just to tell I wonder when will tar ready the new version of the Realanime Realanime7 that version 6 ja ta giving problem in almost all the videos from which fansub by ta dizatulizado when you will launch your website Detritus Software? ok... I barely understood but I'm not currently working actively on bencos and realanime.
best to post here what issues you're having as it may not be the softwares but the sources themselves or your system.

The Sirber ta so is not having problem when I encode with realanime6 softsub videos with subtitles and I think so entrenched with hardsub videos in not getting so right ends encode encode video and leave all bad sound out of sync with the video and other problems and the size is also 50 mb out there is not why the fansub of them have updated their programs and realanime6 dizatualizado ta? one of the fansub that I can not encode the right is just to Anime no Sekai and before you know it was one that did not give me any trouble and realanime6 know when I encode the bar is like the% purcentos is get down on all issues 2, 3 sec every hour until the end of the encoder and I can only encode those videos with realanime6 now so after a time in the MeGUI encode! These are my problems. and I used the program to translate on google and you will not make a version of realanime7 not know when it will be ready?
Sirber
11th May 2010, 16:54
please, the translation through google is barely readable and gives me headaches. :(
this thread is about bencos, not realanime 6. you aren't supposed to get delays using the old realanime 6 or bencos. what is your source? in Bencos 20100130, load the problematic source in the "Files" tab, right click on it, select "Info", then paste here the content of the Info popup.

And I really like the program realanime so I was wondering when the new version comes out in July I found very useful the realanime Benco but I did not like very few have problems with the video in softsub that transforms the caption with the video and changes the shape of encode with subtitles when it will be for video and softsub why my operating systems and Windons in Sirber and it seems that is not the same picture quality when it leaves the video encode compared to realanime or print it so? I use the version of Benco 2010 would not have this problem if I USACE 2009 version of the problem together encode the caption if softsub a video?

Well Sirber, i tried sending you an e-mail, but it seems your e-mail at detritus does not exist. Anyway, i'll just paste it here:
Hello Stéphane.
I am Fidelix from doom9 forums.
I would like to give you my complements about Realanime. It is my favorite x264 GUI.
Now the problem: I have a weekly necessity of encoding anime, and realanime uses old versions of available decoders and encoders, and this is generating some problems for some modern files for me.
mencoder and enhAacPlusEnc crashes some times, so i'm trying to create simple batch process for encoding my own files.
Favor:
Please, could you show me the command line settings that RealAnime uses for enhAacPlusEnc, mencoder and mplayer?
To be more specific, i would like to achieve the perfect quality RealAnime delivers, but i was never able using other GUIs, i guess this is my fault, but anyway...
I am sorry for asking you this in this manner, but i found no other way of contacting you.
I thank you already for reading this message, and i will respect if you decide not to show me the mencoder settings.
Regards,
Felipe Fidelix

It will be out when, and only when, Sirber decides to release it. Your nagging will only serve to annoy.
I think Sirber will tell us if he plans to release a new version. Until then, be patient. Nagging is bad practice on many forums.

Sirber Hi I was wondering if you have a forecast for the launch of Realanime7?

What did I just tell you? If Sirber has any information about a release he wants to divulge, he will do so. You replying here with all these infernal questions about when it will be released will only serve to annoy him.
Cut it out. Sirber will tell you/us when he feels like announcing something.

I can't say... I haven't played with Bencos2 for months (and longer for RA7). There's a lot going in my personal life and now the summer is here! :)
exorcistas! sirber has recently posted the above comment about development and progress, what more do you want?!

I received an error when muxing to mp4. Video encoding and audio encoding were complete. This is the log, what else could I give to help you figure out error.
Due to 99% completion there was no final file output either.
could be a MP4Box error/crash. What does bencos's log say?

Hey Sirber
I've been using Bencos for a while now but I'm having a strange problem now, it encodes the file but the output file is not there I searched my whole drive and couldnt find the encoded files anywhere, any ideas why this is?

Well Sirber, i tried sending you an e-mail, but it seems your e-mail at detritus does not exist. Anyway, i'll just paste it here:
it does exists, maybe it got in spam and I didn't notice it.
RealAnime 6 is outdated. Please use the latest bencos.
as seen on http://www.detritus.qc.ca/:
Status:
Latest release is almost 2 years old and probably outdated. Updating mencoder will break RealAnime 6 since x264 flags changed in recent mencoder releases. I strongly suggest you use Bencos instead. The next version, RealAnime 7, is currently in early development.
... make it 3 years :)
you can get the current latest build of bencos here:

@Sirber
will you update bencos? can you make a compress archive (zip/7-zip) only for portability purposes? because dont want much to install software now a days
and if possible please dont use .Net base programming on this because true compiled languages are the real win :)
EDIT:
i downloaded the source file http://code.google.com/p/bencos/downloads/detail?name=bencos_src_20100130.7z
i made a very minor tweak on the settings of bencos on psy-rd and aq-strength i set them both to 0.6
here is where i change the code
// Profiles (slow!)
case cboVQuality.ItemIndex of
0: sV2 := sV + sOptTmp + ':pass=2:8x8dct:weight_b:mixed_refs:me=hex:partitions=all:subq=7:psy_rd=0.6,0.0:aq-strength=0.6 ';
1: sV2 := sV + sOptTmp + ':pass=2:8x8dct:weight_b:mixed_refs:me=umh:partitions=all:subq=8:trellis=1:psy_rd=0.6,0.0:aq-strength=0.6 ';
2: sV2 := sV + sOptTmp + ':pass=2:8x8dct:weight_b:mixed_refs:me=umh:partitions=all:subq=9:trellis=2:psy_rd=0.6,0.0:aq-strength=0.6 ';
end;
also i changed the resolution (Resize) item lists to 512x384 for 4:3 and 640x360 for 16:9 and made the Resize checbox checked property to true
im totally noob in programming and commandline of encoding i just want to atleast tweak this settings for anime intention
but i got a problem on that source file of bencos and that i cant encode audio with it so can i ask you
is their some missing code on the audio section of that source file of bencos?
this is the tweak bencos

it's in FreePascal, using the Lazarus IDE. I'm in the process of creating the v2, changing mencoder to handbrake. I used 7z because google site doesn't like .exe. Bencos is released as an installer. if you don't want to install it, you can extract it with 7zip (the nsis installer).

try "slow audio extraction". mplayer has difficulties extracting the WAV from the source sometimes.
I'll look at the tweaks and release a new version.

@Sirber
ok ill try extracting the installer using 7-zip because i find installers now a days bothersome lol
and ye i know its in Lazarus (Freepascal) im just hoping that youll continue to program BENCOS on this and not in .Net
and about the tweaks i made ye do take a look at them and ill test out the "slow audio extraction" option
but audio encoding works in this installer though http://code.google.com/p/bencos/downloads/detail?name=BENCOS_20100130-2.exe
so i guess that the source code have some problem? but anyway ill look into it more and hope my brain will not blow
Sirber
30th July 2010, 13:37
the source code is missing all the needed cmdline apps :)
ckmox
30th July 2010, 13:52
ye but i compiled it in Lazarus (Ctrl+F9) then replace the bencos.exe that i got from the compilation onto the directory that has all the commandline apps so its working
and i think i found out the error on the source code its about chkASlowExtract
this is the only code i found about this variable
if (chkASlowExtract.Checked = false) then
sA1 := sA1 + ' -vc null'; // fails with AAC audio
but how about when chkSlowExtract.Checked = true where is the code for this?
Sirber

the checkbox is only used when it's not checked :)

ah ok so there maybe something wrong with the source code because i compiled the source code and use it and the video encoding finishes and muxing too but it has no audio
but in the other hand this installer your provide http://code.google.com/p/bencos/downloads/detail?name=BENCOS_20100130-2.exe with "slow audio extraction" checked finishes the encoding with audio too

I'm testing the new webm codec on anime and it's quite good!.. well a bit less than x264 :)
I'm also testing ffmpeg (win32) to see if it would be good instead of mencoder.
edit
WebM:
ffmpeg.exe -i E002.avi -threads 4 -pass 1 -passlogfile out.webm -b 368k -g 120 -qmax 63 -ab 32 -y out.webm
ffmpeg.exe -i E002.avi -threads 4 -pass 2 -passlogfile out.webm -b 368k -g 120 -qmax 63 -ab 32 -y out.webm
x264:
ffmpeg.exe -i E002.avi -threads 4 -pass 1 -vcodec libx264 -b 368k -passlogfile out.mp4 -fpre presets/libx264-veryslow_firstpass.ffpreset -y out.mp4

I found a way to have the softsubs in the output:
ffmpeg.exe -i E01.mkv -threads 4 -vcodec libx264 -scodec copy -slang eng -b 368k -fpre presets/libx264-normal.ffpreset -an -y out_sub.mkv
ffmpeg.exe -i E01.mkv -threads 4 -vn -sn -acodec pcm_s16le -alang jpn -y out_aud.wav
neroAacEnc.exe -2pass -br 32000 -if out_aud.wav -of out_aud.m4a
ffmpeg.exe -i out_sub.mkv -i out_aud.m4a -vcodec copy -acodec copy -scodec copy -y out_sub_aud.mkv
but I cannot convert every source (like malformed avi/bframe sources). container must be mkv (mp4 don't support .ass), video codec could be vp8..
ckmox
29th September 2010, 16:21
is ffmpeg reliable on muxing? i encoded a h264 mkv file and encoded the video part using x264 (o1.mkv) and then the audio (o.ogg) through ffmpeg libvorbis but when i mux them with this command line
ffmpeg -i o1.mkv -i o.ogg -vcodec copy -acodec copy -y vid_aud_out.mkv
i got video that stops and suddenly jumps but the audio still running using MPC-HC
but when i mux them through mkvmergeGUI the file is fine when i play it though MPC-HC
