mplayer-mingw32-dev-CVS-030906.zip :sly:

Great player but the default config "dr=yes" causes my Athlon XP 1600+ 100% cpu. W/out that line most eps are 70% cpu.

This is a bit weird as on my laptop a P3 500 Mhz, dr on/off makes no diff. Cpu is usually 60%.

Why is the faster Athlon using more cpu

Also using mpc w/ ffdshow cpu use is usually 30%.... Is this a compile problem?

Btw i use a sendto shortcut to play files. How do i play subs w/ sendto method

Thx

There are 2 new builds but they don't work for me. Again strange playback problems.

They put some new builds up of Mplayer1.0 pre2 which was released today. Even the gui is getting close to a fully working release.
