It appears to be an issue with b-pyramid. Valery is working to resolve this - if anyone has any technical knowledge of b-pyramid within AVC please let him know.

What does the checkbox called "Generate info for files" do?
DVD Logic
14th July 2011, 12:21
What does the checkbox called "Generate info for files" do?
Before Mux destination BD EasyBD need pre-process (generate times and segment structure) of every input file. If this checkbox is checked you will generate this info after opening file in EasyBD. This helps you as you can use Property Window to see file format. If file does have info and checkbox is not checked EasyBD will automatically pre-process all files on compilation stage.
If you generated file info before, EasyBD will find and use this info. So you need generate info for every file only one time.
Best regards,
Valery Koval.

Quick question: How do I add a TrueHD audio stream? Does it have to be interleaved with an AC3 one or not?
DVD Logic
8th August 2011, 09:31
Copy 2 files AC3 + MLP in one place, for example: xxx.ac3.ac3 and xxx.ac3.mlp. In EasyBD specify MLP file in Audio stream.
Best regards,
Valery.

Thanks to the author for providing a free version. However, it would be great if a version in between the Free and Standard ($200 one) could be offered as $200 is a bit high for consumers using it for home videos.
What is needed is a Lite pay version (maybe $40-80) that would offer simple menu where each title could be given a descriptive name. And provide the ability to create chapters via automated option – for example: every ## minutes or ## chapters per title.
This would then provide a quick way for home users to add several home video titles and generate then to a Bluray disc with a simple menu on first play that shows a title list to choose from.
Are there any other tools like this out there like EasyBD Lite but also provide a simple menu for BD? I think VideoRedo Suite now supports AVC video, but not sure if it provides a simple Bluray menu on output.

Recently we have released our new menu automatic generation tool -
"Quick BD Menu". You can download Demo and see online Video tutorial here:
http://www.dvd-logic.com/quickbdmenu
This tool plus EasyBD Standard allows you create blu-ray with menu
very quickly and without BD specification knowledges.
I think this is good alternative for home users. Also we proposing good
discount for package EasyBD Std + Quick BD Menu.

Hi Valery,
Can you tell us if EasyBD Pro combined with Quick BD Menu pass the Sony and Eclipse verification tools for replication ?
Also, is it possible to add a video track as background with Quick BD Menu ?
Thanks. ;)

Hi everyone,
Good question.
EasyBD Pro pass Eclipse verification with very good results. Sony BD verification in most cases... The problem is we can't find Sony BD verifier for unlimited using for testing ... If anybody can help with testing on Sony BD Verifier please write me on email.
You can't add video file as background to Quick BD Menu as the tool creates only single *.ies file. But you can add video later in EasyBD Pro when using the *.ies.
Best regards,
Valery.

Hi mrsmile,
I have EasyBD Studio. Is not a problem with a video as background. Example, Generate a new Track, rename to Menu, under Menu add a Menu and rename to topmenu. insert videotrack in menu and the ies file under topmenu. see image.

EasyBD can't mux this TrueHD stream...
Works flawlessly in EasyBD with a corresponding ac3 file...

I have Dolby Media Encoder SE, this files works with no problems. generate automatic dolby digital file with the same file name. import .mlp only, ac3 is automatically added and muxed

24th November 2011, 19:33
Well, that's what i did. In the muxing process if i don't choose the truehd everything works fine. If i choose the truehd (with the corresponding ac3 track), i get an error. That's why i though it's the faulty track. Apparently something else is going on...

The most strange thing is the error message though. I don't have any file named 00001.
EDIT: Further invastigation shows that my sample file indeed works fine. But the original file the sample was made from doesn't. I don't know whether is size problem (my truehd stream is 3.30GB). Something else i noticed is that if a delete that specific stream from the project and then i re-add it, easybd doesn't scan the file like it doesn't for each new file it gets added.

Hi Valery,
Another question about replication.
Is EasyBD able to layout BD CMF image for replication or do we need to use a third party software like BluStreak ?
Thanks.
;)
DVD Logic
1st December 2011, 13:00
Sorry, but EasyBD (any version Lite, Pro, Suite, Studio) does not generate image. So, BluStreak is the best way to create it. We do not plan generate image at the moment.
P.S.
By the way, we opened forum on our website: http://www.dvd-logic.com/forum
Best regards,
Valery.

Have anyone been able to mux 7.1 truehd track with easybd lite? Muxing completes fine, but resulting file doesn't playback correctly (audio/video desync, stuttering etc).

DVD Logic,
Would your company ever consider releasing a limited free BD demuxer (similar to EasyBD Lite)? Perhaps it could accept a single MPLS and demux the video, audio, and subtitles.

@Video Dude
Is there some reason that tsMuxer's demuxing capabilities won't meet your needs?
Video Dude
10th December 2011, 05:43
It is always good to have alternatives.
DVD Logic sells a commercial Blu-ray authoring package, but they offer a free version that is useful to people on the forum. I wanted to ask if they planned to offer a free lite version of the BD demuxer.

@Video DudeIt is always good to have alternatives.Probably so.
I'm just glad to hear there isn't some hitherto unknown reason I should avoid using tsMuxer's "Demux" function ;>}

Hi,
this is good question, but sorry, we can't release free BD Demuxer at the moment. Probably we'll think about free DVD Demuxer, but in next year.

7.1 truehd must work fine. Please send me this example and I'll re-check. Regarding our forum, there is spam-protection system and maybe it closed your registration. Please register again and I'll activate you right now.

Ok, here (http://www.mediafire.com/?s67r88c7j7rc876,o11649d9x7ybxzz,443ldkhduxwoe92) it is. TrueHD, AC3 and muxed m2ts samples. I get out of sync audio and dropped frames when playing the truehd stream. With the ac3 is ok. Also, eac3to to reports gaps when demuxing.
