Thanks guys. I'm glad those .ini issues seemed to be solved. Still have no idea what was causing them.
One small hurdle to overcome and subtitles are done for tsMuxeR. Fonts seem to want to cause me some trouble now.

Eac3to and More GUI v 1.09 b3 (http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/yraen@sbcglobal.net/lst?.dir=/Eac3to+and+More+GUI&.order=&.view=l&.src=bc&.done=http%3a//briefcase.yahoo.com/)
Changelog:
v 1.09 beta 3
- added subtitles to tsMuxer tab
- reduced the amount of memory the gui uses
- minor tweaks
Subtitles for tsmuxer are added as source files or demuxed with eac3to and queued in the batch. Since most of them will be srt files, add them as source files on the paths/sources tab.
There might be a problem with subs, I don't know. It seems that the command line for tsmuxer wants the charset of the font, and using autoit I can't seem to find out what the charset is. Right now it defaults all fonts to DEFAULT_CHARSET, which according to microsoft:
Note that DEFAULT_CHARSET is not a real charset; rather, it is a constant akin to NULL that means "show characters in whatever charsets are available."
So here's hoping it works okay. If needed, I've got a disabled button there that can be activated to allow the user to change the charset, but I hope it doesn't come to that.
The memory usage tweak looks real good. I've been bothered by how much memory the gui took from the beginning, and just recently found a way to lower it.

Sounds great. Can't wait to try it.

That's always welcome.
Thanks a bunch!

The GUI is not letting me add the path to tsMuxeR. I always delete the previous version and it's INI before using a new one. Am I doing something wrong?
EDIT:
Seems to work fine now after shutting it down and restarting. Don't know what that was about.

oops...
It was a bug in the code. I had it fixed in 1.10 (which I'm working on) and forgot to transfer it back to 1.09 when I found it. This bug only applied itself the first time you set up tsmuxer, once starting the gui again all is correct. New version (http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/yraen@sbcglobal.net/lst?.dir=/Eac3to+and+More+GUI&.order=&.view=l&.src=bc&.done=http%3a//briefcase.yahoo.com/) is up and fixes that bug.
You don't have to delete the .ini if you don't want to. I only add to it, never remove anything.

^^^^LOL.........And I thought I did something wrong. Well, thanks for fixing it :) I always delete the INI just to be safe. I'm like that. Is it just me or is d/ling from Yahoo incredibly slow these days?
Got into some trouble here: I just want to load some audiotracks as source files and convert them subsequently to ac3. some are in the same folder, some don't but the option "apply these settings to all source files..." is not working then. It seems eac3to wants to merge the audiotracks which are in the same folder?

In 1.10 I'm going to remove the automatically linking of files in the same folder. It seems I broke that in one of the recent "fixes". I'll find the problem and get a fix up later today/tomorrow. Fix is up, Eac3to and More GUI v 1.09 b5 (http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/yraen@sbcglobal.net/lst?.dir=/Eac3to+and+More+GUI&.order=&.view=l&.src=bc&.done=http%3a//briefcase.yahoo.com/).
Here's a question for everyone. Do you prefer the source file selection the way it is or would you prefer something like this? (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2174/2545751747_ab8a40998e_o.jpg)
In the photo is both ways, I could leave both ways in or get rid of one. I'm prefering the check boxes if I can get them to behave the way I want them to.

With the latest version the setting to re run the process if a gaps/overlap file is detected isn't working for batch processing. I don't know if it works for a single process since I have only tried batch processing with the latest version. Oddly when I set this option in the preferences tab it doesn't show up as checked automatically in the audio and video tabs. I noticed this and checked it manually and it still didn't work.

Hi, Being new to the forum and to this great gui. I have in the past used Tsremux to demux the audi track ie TrueHd from a movie run it through eac3to to create an lpcm file and then through Pcm2Tsmu to create an lpcm file that would work with TsMuxer. At this point in TsMuxer I would input the lpcm file for the audio file and the m2ts file of the decripted movie and select the video file from the m2ts file and the audio from the eac3to lpcm I created and finally output a .ts file that would stream to my PS3 and would play great. My question is this: How would I do this with this gui? I see how to create the lpcm audio file using the eac3to audio tab and then create the stdout lpcm using the eac3to stdout tab but in the TSmuxer tab I don't see where I can select a video track from a m2ts file and mux it together eith the newly created lpcm file. Either I don't understand the TsMuxer tab or something is missing. Please help. This tool looks like it could be the all in one tool I have been looking for to create a streamable Blu-ray file. Thank you

There's a lot missing from both the Mkvmerge and tsMuxer tabs. This was never meant to even compete with the functionality those guis have. It was meant to bring the basics to work with eac3to in a batch queue mode.
As of right now, the only way you can get the video over to tsMuxeR is to demux it with eac3to at the same time you're getting the audio.

Oh. ok. I didn't know if more funtionality was going to be added for tsMuxer. I don't usually dmux the video. Once I create the lpcm file as I described above I add the entire m2ts movie file and the lpcm file within tsMuxer and select the video track from the m2ts file and the lpcm track and mux them to a ts file. If that can't be done in the gui I can do it outside as well. The gui is still great for creating the lpcm in one tool. Thank you.
Yraen, Just as a follow up do you think this could be an added future function for the tsMuxer tab?
Thank you.

on the video tab are under extras 2 checkboxes for muxing into movie.mkv and passthru to vc1conv, but both have no function. is this going to change or how to change the cmd-line to do so manually?
also the checkbox under video options for demuxing 1st video and all audio has no function?
i'm quite an newbie to all this hd-dvd stuff, so please excuse strange questions.

We'll see what comes after I finish 1.10. It's got some changes in it that I like. And it probably would make supporting multiple tracks in tsMuxer easier.

That probably broke at the same time that the gaps detection broke. Hopefully I'll get the time this weekend to fix it. And work on 1.10 some more. There's nothing that can be changed in the command line to fix it, that was all done internally in the gui, calling vc1conv/mkvmerge after eac3to and passing the names to them.
Thanks for letting me know about that and the -demux not working. I'll try to get the fixes out this weekend.

Sorry if I'm looking in the wrong spot or didn't search with the correct keywords.
I've been using eac3to on the command line to merge M2TS files from a seamless branching BD movie and come across a post the other day recommending this GUI... I like it but I can't figure out how to get the GUI to see the list of files (i.e. "xxxx.m2ts" + "yyyy.m2ts" + "zzzz.m2ts") and pass it to the command line.
I've been using tsmuxer to open the BD MPLS playlist and then cut/pasting the list into the eac3to command line directly in a shell.
is there a way to get the GUI to streamline these steps?

hi Yraen
there is a small problem and i hope you understand what i mean.
Movie: Waterworld for example
the eac3to log shows me 14 subtitles but it is 18 subtitels.
14 normal subs and 4 forced subs. (evodemux shows me the 18 subs but canīt right demux them)
the 4 forced subs started later as the normal subs and i think thats the problem.
is there a way to fix that??? maybe by large scanning the feature.evo file or is that a problem of the eac3to.exe?
your GUI is very useful to me and i love it

Path/Sources tab choose 'Add Source Folder(s)' and choose your 'STREAM' folder -> 'Eac3to Audio' tab use the 'Input Folder' drop down and select your STREAM folder -> eac3to will then scan the disc -> choose which title set you want -> continue your processing.

Unfortunately that is an eac3to limitation and you're right about what the problem is. Eac3to, to the best of my knowledge, only reads so much of the .evo/.m2ts files to see the streams contained within. Since they start later, eac3to never sees them. You might post in the eac3to thread and see if madshi might want a sample or there is a command line switch that will let eac3to read deeper into the files.
Does unchecking the box "Fast EVO checking" let Evodemux see and demux the streams correctly? I seem to remember using it a long time ago when I had a trouble HD-DVD and it helped then (don't remember the problem though).
Thanks.

Video track 3 contains 131665 frames.
eac3to processing took 58 minutes, 5 seconds.
Done.
Should I also be naming the file 'stdout' on the stdout tab? I always use 'stdout' on the 'Eac3to Audio' tab and 'Audio' on the 'stdout' tab.

Eac3to names the gaps file the name that eac3to puts out. It should be checking to see if stdout.pcm.gaps file is found though. You only need the "stdout" name for eac3to. I do like you do, and name the audio "audio" on the stdout tab.
Looking at the code the check is in there. I'll queue up some tests though and see what happens.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no switch in eac3to to specify the arcsoft decoder over the others. If you have it installed, and it is working (not expired) then eac3to will use it. Before my demo expired, eac3to used it by default. Once I get around to buying the program, I'm sure eac3to will go back to using it again.
I'll always try to stay on top of the switches that get added to eac3to, but something new (arcsoft) that gets added without needing any user input will always work by just using the latest version of eac3to.
