QuEnc setting
i just tested out some different modes with DVD-RB pro RC2 and noticed something strange.
i selected 1 pass CQ with analysis and unticked single pass encode. with the analysis and also encode(meaning after pressing the encode button in 3 step mode) 2 pass is selected in QuEnc. when 1 pass CQ is selected then it shouldnt it automatically disable 2 pass mode ? yes i know QuEnc will only do 1 pass in CQ mode anyway so its not really important, more a cosmetic thing. just thought i would mention it anyway.

As I told you on the PM about RME... I already talked to jdobbs about that... those little "issues" confused me, too...

well this part is as i said a cosmetic issue but i do have some thoughts how QuEncs settings could be cleared up a little. made easier to understand i mean.
under QuEnc options have single pass double pass single pass CQ VBR with analysis. then when any of these is selected the others are automatically deselected also possibly have a CBR/VBR setting for single and double pass. just thoughts anyway.

Well... I would change your suggestion a little
![]() Something like: Single Pass (CBR) Double Pass (VBR) Single Pass CQ VBR (w/analysis) I don't see any use of using 2 passes CBR, at least not with Rebuilder. And when selecting High Quality 2 passes VBR would be authomaticaly selected. I think that would be enough to keep it Clean and simple... of course Trellis and Scene detection must be there too. just my 2 cents

Just another thought...
Why not the creation of some "Profiles"? Something like: "Low Quality" "Normal Quality" "Good Quality" "High Quality" "Custom" I guess it is not hard to compile some QuEnc Config to fill the profiles. ... another 2 cents (If I continue this way... I'll be broke in a few days )

@Dragongodz & Rockas I'll change it in some way similar to what you've suggested.
