Nice looking player, but decoder is not so good for MCE 2005:

1) Crashes on most HDTV channels (tuned with DVICO Fusion 2).

2) No deinterlacing on normal TV channels (tuned and encoded to MPEG-2 with Hauppage PVR-150).

3) No deinterlacing on 480i portion of DVD (e.g. menu of "Boogeyman" DVD).

I had turned on hardware acceleration and deinterlacing to "VMR" in the player, to compare to similar settings with Nvidia decoder, are these settings bad?

If You certain that video is encoded as interlace and you use VMR deinterlace, that possible your VGA or driver is not supported VMR deinterlace.
