Encode "all" or "each clip separately" to MPEG files?
Hello, I am prepared to encode the finished video clips (.AVI) to .mpg to author on a dvd.
I am using TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator to do the encoding. The software is asking me if I want to Encode all clip into one single MPEG file. or Encode each clip separatedly to MPEG files. Which one should I choose to make a life little easier and why? Thanks in advance. |

I would encode them seperately. This will make it easier for you to play around with the dvd structure.
For example make pgcs for each clip seperately and make a play all pgc. If you're not interested in that you could encode it just as one file. You need to get exact chapter points though to be able to navigate through the different clips.
