MTK 1389 DE and res probs

Hey

Really hope someone here can help me out, i have a scott 842 dvd/divx player based on MTK 1389 DE chipset and have some probs whit the resolution 624x352, when i play the picture are cuttet 2 cm on both sides (left and right), unfortenly there is no update for this player and seems like scott.de dosen't respons to mail anymore, so i wonder if its only this player that have the problem or there is other player based on the 1389 DE chip that also behave this stranges

u sure the 2cms are not because of your TV's overscan area?
