Undersized again
Hi, i was just wandering if the undersized problem using half D1 / half space have been corrected?
I've done a movie with DVD-rb 0.49 without halfd1/half space checked and it give me an output of 4.34 GB (perfect). Then, i've took the same source and this time i've checked Halfd1/half space and my movie was only 4.10 GB?? Someone got a fix for this? |

I'd say you dont need half-d1 option for a 6GB movie (or content) unless you want to keep lots of audio tracks with it.
But with episodic discs its best not to use the half-d1-bitrate option as it might apply the half-d1 to the episodes and not the extras (RB thinks the other episodes are the extras). In this case, apply the half-d1 option via the AVS options to the VTS that you desire, and then use ECL Optimizer to half the bitrate of that VTS. I've done this about 3 times and the output has no undersizing. |
