Can Elta read DiVX/XviD on DVDR?

Just ordered an Elta and a DVD rewriter. Was wondering if the Elta can playback DiVX/XviD files from DVDR's. If there was any trick to it in write method etc.

Absolutly every DivX Player can do that
It even better to play from dvd (higher bitrates), just burn as iso dvd.

Even though CD-R's work fine in the elta player, I would be a bit cautious with CD-RW's. I have an elta 8883 and it's got massive problems with CD-RW media, it rarely plays more than the first second of the avi.

Also, I wouldn't recommend using Mode 2 (CDXA) CDs in the elta player. Although it supports Mode 2 CDs, it doesn't play them very reliably and often simply stops the playback at some point (usually towards the end of the CD).

Elta has a problem with high bitrates on CDR (4k-6k) only in first 3-5 minutes of the first clip on media. Then it's ok
