seriously people.... How do you author a titleset with more than 1 PGC??

I cannot really get any answer from any forum. Maybe cus very few knows about this or I was just at the wrong side of the forum...
so please please please any veteran out there just got to know how to simple author a movie titleset with more than one PGC.

I am currently using the DVD2DVD-r with CCE method and author the final output with ifoedit containing menus and extra.
Since I am always adding an extra subtitle language picked up from a divx source from the net... I must demultiplex the files and by doing so I can´t add the other PGCs using ifoedit...

so with this 3 step thingie... how do you folks add the other PGCs?
Some DVDs are in need of the extra PGCs at least this one I am trying to do.
And like authouring from scratch with Scenarist seems just too complexed.... or is there a way the original IFO file could be copied in to preserve the exact same structure?

come on,, help me guys... no luck with the search either

Its simple. If you want to author more than 1 PGC then get yourself DVD Authoring software that's not limited to single PGC authoring. Most commercial programs should allow more than 1 PGC. My guess is that most people who reauthor DVDs either use more robust authoring programs or just make due with IFOEdit and its limitations. On very simple DVDs you may be able to recreate multi-pgc DVDs using IFOEdit and adjusted cell mode in IFOUpdate. That's the closet to what you are asking for. If you can author a single PGC with all the cells in the correct order (Use IFOUpdate's graphically display IFO option to see the order) than you can use ACM mode in IFOUpdate and it will essentially just make all the adjustments for you. But for all but the most simple DVDs IFOEdit still probably won't have the flexibility to do this.

Other than that, break down and buy some commercial software.

P.S. people don't totally reauthor the DVD in Scenarist, at least they aren't required to. All you do is use it to remultiplex the vob files that you demuxed and re-encoded. Its really quite simple for most DVDs, especially with the automated programs such as ReAuthorist and now Scenaid...though I still prefer to do it myself.

downloading divx and using the subs? this is warez. you are using a copyright-protected asset of one version of a movie and trying to add it to another. I'm not sure if you realize what you do is illegal therefore this is a warning, not a strike. also... thread closed.
