dvd architect anyone?

hey, I am trying to figure out how to burn a dvd that I've captured onto my computer from my dv camera and I render it in mpeg2 and then using dvd architect I prepare it and I get the audio_ts and video_ts and then I burn it yet my dvd player, which is the next best thing to sliced bread, says there's no disc in it yet dvd architect says that everything went as per program. has anyone or does anyone know why the dvd player says no disc or am I just missing a step and this just seems way too easy.

also, I have a couple dvd-rw that I use fortesting in certain situations like such where I'm trying to learn how to do all this stuff but how the hell do I erase the previous material or are the dvd-rw's different than cd-rw's!

thanks ppl.

First things first, can your dvdplayer actually read dvd-r/rw media?

Secondly i recomend using imagetools to burn your video_ts and audio_ts directories.

and it plays every and any kind of cd dvd put into it, I've tested this thing to the nuts.

If you have dvd decrypter installed, imagetools can be set to burn with dvd decrypter automatically.

I had this problem a couple of times. I now use ifoedit and get vts sectors prior to burning. Problem solved for me. I read this solution elsewhere in the forum. Works well.
