What way is best to convert to YUY2?

What way is it best to convert to YUY2, with the mpeg2dec3.dll fuctions such as
MPEG2Source("dvd.d2v")
YV12toYUY2()
or with Avisynth's inbuilt
ConvertToYUY2(interlaced=true)

or with Avisynth's inbuilt
ConvertToYUY2()

Right?
And since we are getting a bit bureaucratic in this forum and asking the wrong question can get you a kick in the ***, can I ask what are the diferrences between these two alternatives?
The reason I am asking this is because I saw in the help file of mpeg2dec3.dll 1.08 the following: The Following inbuilt colorspace conversions may cause problems. Please Use the Inbuilt AviSynth functions where possible:

Nic has to comment on that, but he probably forgot to delete that in the help file. Like Richard said, in the mpeg2dec3 v1.08 the color conversions of AviSynth are used. Meaning that

MPEG2Source("dvd.d2v")
YV12toYUY2(interlaced=true)
or with Avisynth's inbuilt
ConvertToYUY2(interlaced=true)

gives exactly the same result. You can check that by using the subtract function.

I did not edit the scripts, I edited your title to correct mistakes and add a question mark. I do not edit content unless it is profane. I do edit titles to help other users, who view them on the thread listing page.
