Scenarist 2.6 works better on which OS?

I have recently wondered which operating system would be best suited for Scenarist 2.6. I know that they both work on Windows NT, but which software pack, and also on Windows 2000.

Has anyone had any luck using Scenarist with Windows XP?

I've also have gotten this error: Quadrant or Sigma Design MPEG decoder is not present or the driver is not installed.

Is there a software I can use to operate Scenarist's decoder needs?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Knock on wood, it has worked fine [v2.6] in Windows XP Pro for me.

The message about the Sigma Designs card has to do with not having that particular mpeg2 decoder card in your computer. It works without it. For the most part, I think the decoder card would be for the simulation mode, but it can function on cpu alone, albeit with some delay.

I can't quite remember, but some people may have posted about their experiences with Windows 2000 and Scenarist, but I can't remember off the top of my head...

Thanks,
Dan
