"Get VTS sectors" also for full Scenarist auth. from scratch?
As the title says, I'm succesfully trying Scenarist 2.6 for simple DVD authoring with the movie only (passing .M2V, AC3s and chapters).
Next, after burning with Nero 5.5.10.15 with right DVD layout and settings, my DVD+Rs play perfectly with my PlayStation2 (with or without MOD-chip activated). Without performing IFOedit with "Get VTS Sectors", am I making "bad" DVD-Videos anyway? Checking mastered IFOs I see that Nero doesn't compensate anything since they are same as their original state in HD (so I guess it doesn't correct VTS sectors at all ).P.S.: my procedures are partially based on ChickenMan's guide at CDfreaks forum and he doesn't talk about any VTS correction, *BUT* his guide uses another authoring software! if you are doing a straight author in scen, then burning you are creating a good dvd, some may say that nero CAN'T make good dvds tho.
the 'bad' dvds and the correct vts sectors only comes about when you are authoring the projects in bits and reintegrating it all back together with the original ifos. personally, i work similar to you, but i do a full reauthor with ALL of the extras. Enf...
