menus in scenarist

I think this is the correct forum for this question, if not sorry.

I,m trying to learn scenarist an have succeeded as far as getting my stuff into the prog and I created a subpicture for the main menu.

The problem is that I can't create buttons in the simulator window. Also, where in the track editor do I place the still or clip that is going to be the menu/1st play?

Thanks for your patience with my scenarist newbie questions.

Yea, I tried those already and they say the same thing, but I'm unsure as to where to drop the menu clip/still in the track editor.
when I try the simulation window, It won't let me make butttons.
