Explain, pls, what is happening in the log-file?

I tried yesterday to make a SVCD and the result is outstanding using CCE. I sat down and check my logfile and I understand almost everything but not all.
When the AUDIO-part is done then it does something that takes for about 2 hours and then again for about 8 hours.
I assume the last 8 hours are when making the MPG-file but what is happening for the first two hours?
I do not have the log-file so I cannot show You.

...and "YES" I have read the Newbie section...

CCE is using the first two hours to create a VAF file (Video Analyze File), and yes the last 8 hours is for making the mpv file.

Btw, I moved this to the CCE thread.

That "8 hours" is variable. It depends on how many passes you choose.
