Installing Lame 3.92 and Ogg 1.0 !!

I have just got my new computer ( p4 2.26 GHz, 512MB DDR 333, and GF4 TI 4600 and 2x WD800JB in RAID ) ... and I also just installed WinXP Pro ... and then all the codecs etc. has to be reinstalled , but I can't get the damn codecs installed right ( Lame 3.92 and Ogg 1.0 ) ... I wana install it so I can make DivX with Lame ore Ogg in VirtualDub 1.4.10 ... I allways make the DivX first and the I mux the audio in after I have finished the video , and the I just use a wav-file ( PCM ... duh ) and the I can set video in VirtualDub to DirectStreamCopy and the Audio to Full Processing Mode and compress the Audio it the format that I want ... , but the AudioCodec will not install so I can't find it in VirtualDub ... anyone now what I'm doing wrong ? .... tell me what ore perhaps a link to the codecs with a better install setup that I have ... I just have some .zip files with the codecs ... are there better installfiles ore ?

Help ASAP would be nice ... I'm doing some divx tonight

AFAIK my friend what you need is Radium mp3 codec, not Lame.
If you wonna make movies with Lame mp3 the best way to go is BeSweet, and you'll have to demux audio first.

Lame doesn't have to be installed.
Download RazorLame (the GUI for Lame), place the Lame dll file in the RazorLame directory, point to it in the menu of RazorLame if not already done, encode from WAV to mp3 as usual, use nandub to mux audio & video.

You can set up lame to appear in VirtualDub by browsing to the ACM directory in the Lame distribution, right clicking LameACM.inf and selecting install. It will be added to VirtualDub (and other programs) as Lame MP3.
