creative encore dxr3
Hi,
A while ago i bought myself a creative dvd set from creative, the dxr3. In Windows NT land everything was fine, drivers were available (for download) and all was well. Now I moved over (for this machine anyway) to windows 2000 and maybe later XP, but to my surprise there's no driversupport on the creative website for downloads. You can buy!!! a mere 15 mb or so update, to get it up and running with 2000/XP. This also is the case for my Live! Value i bought along with it. Are there ppl who want to share these drivers? The drivers I'm talking about are for the decoder card and the Liveware version for 2000/XP. Any tips/hints etc. are welcome. I have the original install cd/floppy for installation under NT4. cheers, rob |

The dxr3 is a hollywood plus card from sigmadesign in disguise.
You should be able to use the driver for the Hollywood + card instead of creatives own. Creative has actually shipped sigmadesign reference drives with the Dxr3 for some time now. So the place to look for drivers for Dxr3 is http://www.sigmadesigns.com/support/downloads.htm Best of luck Sir And |
