program freezes at dvd2avi

Ripped 4 episodes of Monty Python Series from a single DVD to 4 different vob directories on the hard drive using Smartripper 2.41. The first set encoded no problems, but the others freeze up when dvd2svcd calls dvd2avi. The last line on the log is the command line call to dvd2avi. Dvd2avi flashes on the screen and then disappears, and then dvd2svcd stops responding. If I otherwise go to the preview
window under the conversion tab, I get an access violation and then a floating point error. I am running WinXP on an AMD 1.7 with 512Ram, 19gb of free hard drive
space. Please help.

Hello stewdoggy,

and welcome to the forum, btw.

I moved the post over here, because all trouble questions and how do I, and I need help questions belong to the basic forum.

Please make sure to read the stickies if not already done. If you'd already done, then Q48 of the Q&A would apply to your problem - but seems you missed it somehow.

If you still have any troubles after following the advice from Q48 then report back but make sure to stick to the forum rules - you might not get away with it next time.

Hope this helps,
Gerti
