Maestro Slide Show - help please...

i would like to make a a slide show that

1 - plays like a movie (after the time is up will play next picture seemlessly)
2 - skips to the next picture when the person pressed next
3 - has audio

i have made 1 currently which kinda works fine and does almost all this except when i press next it skips 6 pictures and also it starts on the 6th chapter (1st picture) instead of on the 1st chapter (1st picture)which stuffs up the audio

i made chapter marks for each of the pictures. is this where i went wrong?

is there a guide available on this? ive read the other posts about slideshows but they dont explain much at all

Hmm, I think you're suppose to press Next Chapter instead of the "skip" button. Using the skip button is just like using a Fast Foward, on the other had if you use the "Next Chapter" button it should take you to the next chapter point.

if i turn the bitmaps (still images) intoa video file in premiere it does everything the way i want ot to but then unfortunately the chapter points i place into the file cant be places at the exact timecode i want oit to. is this because of the GOP? currently the GOP is set to 18 - does this mean that it is setting the "keyframe" at every 18 frames? if so can i change this GOP to 1? thanks everyone

Off the top of my head (never done it this way...), what is to stop you from placing ONE bitmap on each Movie Timeline, and then just creating navigation commands that tell the player to seamlessly jump to the next "movie" (still), one-by-one, and so on?

Or perhaps I am simply misinterpreting your question?
