DVD2SVCD Final Mpg file sizes

I have been using DVD2SVCD for the past month or 2, I wouldn't say im like a Pro SVCDer or anything but any who on to my Question, Every time I make a SVCD, I use 80 min cd's in the bitrate tab, and the first of the final mpgs that come out after muxing and cutting always seem to be just 1 or 2 megs too big for a CD ( 795 MB (834,339,240 bytes) actuall size of first file 794 MB (832,738,004 bytes) actuall size of second file ) and I end up having to Overburn the first cd, which sometimes screws up the last few min of the movie. Is there any way to be able to use 80 min cd's but have the final mpgs come out under 795 so I dont have to overburn the first cd everytime ?

Actually you shouldn't have to overburn until 806 or 807mb's.

The actual size of a 800Mb CDR in mode-2 is 840.960.000 bytes.
So, no need to overburn or change the length in the related tab.

This number will vary between companies and even between years of production by the same company. Plus the edges of the CD's are the part that gets worn first, so for me, lowering this value just makes sense. But the beauty of dvd2svcd is the flexibility it offers, so no matter what your stance on this is, or what your particular CD's hold, you can customize the size of the images to fit your needs, and I believe that is the answer to the initial question.

Update !! !!

Ok I changed The size of the cd from 800 to 795 and Proceded to do a SVCD that night, and it something seems to be wrong, I started Ripping and converting before bed Like I do every night, and usually when I wake up in the morning I have 2 or 3 files to burn, but this morning, It seems that DVD2SVCD stopped right before encoding, So I thought "hmm this is weird" So I started it back up the next night from the Recovery file at the encoding, and it started up CCE and made the .vaf file, and I went to sleep again hoping to wake up to everything done again, but no dvd2svcd stopped again right after making the vaf file. Any idea's on why this might be happening ?
