MPC-HC autochange freq. option problems
I use the 'autochange' fullscreen options of MPC-HC (big thumbs up for this feature!!!!).
When I play a PAL dvd movie (VIDEO_TS folder) MPC-HC does not switch to 50Hz (as configured by me in the fullscreen options). I think the problem is that MPC-HC first goes to the dvd menu which is not in 25Hz I think and that when I press the play movie icon in the dvd menu MPC-HC somehow cannot make the switch to 50Hz because MPC doesn t 'see' the correct fps? (This is only I THINK what is going on). More people (living in PAL-land mainly) having this problem and is there a solution for it already? |

Use reclock. The mpc-hc one is still in its infancy. It only detects the rate when a movie / dvd starts initially, it doesn't detect changes, and doesn't detect things like double frame rates due to de-interlacers.
The reclock display changer option handles all of this, but its tricky to get it setup to your liking as its a vbs script you must tailor to your needs. |
