Can you do any "better" than Yadif when it comes to decent realtime diagonals?

Or is Yadif the only realtime deinterlacer that can do pretty good diagonals in most cases?

GPU-based deinterlacing is better than yadif. Well, at least PureVideo (Nvidia)... I've never seen ATI's deinterlacing in action.

will it work with dvsd ntsc footage?

edit: aww, i can't donate $15. well at least not at the moment. i will stick with yadif for now.

No. MPEG2, AVC, or VC1.

ahh i see, so they are basically ur DGAVCDec/DGMPGDec tools that uses the GPU as the decoder and frameserver instead of the CPU? hence faster processing?
