HD Resize effects colour?

Hi Guys, been experimenting with HD rips using StaxRip and x264 encoder.

I was trying to resize a 11gb 1080p film into a 720p film at 8gb.

I went with all the higest settings, resized the movie (in a multi of 4). The resulting Mkv was of good quality but had an overall green tint as opposed to a more blue tint in the original. It was fairely obvious in dark scenes.

I later tried compressing the film and didnt change the resolution, just resized the 1080p down to 8gb. The result were the colours remained the same as the original.

Anyone know why this is?

We would need to see your script / what you are doing to the clip as a whole.

Right now, I am suspecting a ColorMatrix() necessity, but that is impossible to prove without a script.
