hi, I did quick search but nothing came out (even outside forums).

Is there openEXR source filter for Avisynth? It would really come in handy for me right now.

try imagemagick.

there's a feature to input it straight into avisynth.

this source plugin will handle pretty much any still image format btw. but it may be a little slow. it'll be fine for encoding though.
