besweet and vobs...
hi dspguru and anyone else...
i'm using besweet 0.93, ac3-processing works fine but when using vob for input, the output is still choppy... just wanted to let you know. and a little question: sometimes i get some output like this in my dos box: [00:48:13:120] | MP3 Max bitrate : 320 [00:48:13:120] | Channels Mode : Joint Stereo [00:48:13:120] | Error Protection: No [00:48:13:120] +--------------------- [01:23:36.586] W6: Downmix overflow (+1.4dB). <----------- [01:23:36.816] W6: Downmix overflow (+1.2dB). <----------- [01:23:36.826] W6: Downmix overflow (+1.4dB) <----------- [01:13:03:296] +------- BeSweet ----- [01:13:03:296] | Input : h:\fsgfs\vts_01_4.vob [01:13:03:296] | Output: e:\smilla\test.mp3 [01:13:03:296] | RIFF header will be added [01:13:03:296] | Substream ID: 0x80 why is there still overflow although i used -g max? i guess it's no problem, just want to be informed. my cmdline: besweet -core( -input h:\fsgfs\vts_01.lst -output e:\smilla\test.mp3 -substream 0x80 -wavmp3 ) -azid( -s stereo -n 1 -c normal -L -3db -g max ) -ssrc( ) -boost( /disable ) -lame( -h --abr 112 ) __________________________________ check simple.frontend mpeg2avi gui with (very basic) besweet support http://www.world-free.com/chi/ |

hi chi !!!
the choppy output should be fixed now. read other thread. about the vob problems - i don't know, bbDMUX is giving me hard time , i don't think this overflow ever occurs on pure AC3 streams.i might switch bbDMUX with vSTRIP in future versions..

damjang is probably right, if the overflow occurs on the second/third/.. vob, that's the exact reason.
