cutting a VOB : big problem
I will be a little long to explain but
![]() I own a Vitec DCM so i can make analogic acquisition. I make my acquisition on MPEG-2 , dvd quality. I obtain 2 files , the .m2v and the .ac3. I mux them with DVD maker to abtain several .vob files. Until then all work perfectly. But when i encode an analog movie (1h30-2h00) , i often leave the computer alone ![]() When i return the movie is encoded but far more than his length. I got 2h30 for a movie of 1h40 for example. How can i truncate or delete the vob ? i need to see the movie to do that. |

Hi
Try TMPGEnc It can split/merge MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 files. But remember that don't mux M2V and AC3 to VOB. You should import MPG or M2V files to TMPGEnc. Hope you will succeed NOTE : Don't use VobSplit. It corrupts the header of file. |
