'Subscript out of range'-problem in general
I have searched the forums for this, but I couldn't find any comprehensive explanation for this error. I have encountered this error with several dvds that were not preprocessed in any way (anydvd, maybe tho). So, I have few questions regarding this error.
![]() 1) What is this error exactly? What causes it in e.g. numenu4u? 2) The complete error seems quite cryptic. Where should I start fixing it? And what can I conclude from the error output? 3) Should I report the problems somewhere? Procedure Name: Item Module Name: SUB_STREAM Error Number: 9 Error Description: Subscript out of range Error Source: ErrorHandler Error Line: 8 Call Stack: SUB_STREAM --> Item NewSUBS --> ProcessSST Last edited by salkku; 9th March 2006 at 20:50. |

Hmmh.. The dvd has 2 menuvobs with 196mb and 15mb, but there are also 7 menuvobs with the size of 0.15mb and which have 15 blank frames. If I just decheck those, everything works.
I also checked the 0.15mb menus with pgcedit and noticed that they dont even have subtitlestreams. Is it even legal to have a menu without a substream? I sent you mail about this. EDIT: Back to topic.. If someone is able to answer those questions, please do so. ![]() EDIT2: I forgot to mention that this dvd has no video_ts.vob Last edited by salkku; 14th March 2006 at 12:12. |
