DirectShow can't play from NTFS-mounted DVD-Rom

Hello,

I have a strange problem with my media center pc:

I have mounted my DVD-rom drive to d:\dvd_rom (also left letter e: enabled).

So when I now try to open an avi file via directshow from d:\dvd_rom, I get an error message:
0x80070057 -- One or more arguments are invalid

When I open the file from e:\ directly, the file plays fine.

Also strange, if I build my own graph, starting with Nero File Source (asynch) it also plays from mounted path. So it seems to be a problem of the internal AviSource filter.

I use:
Windows MCE 2005

I googled and found this patch, but it didn't solve the problem:
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=k...5641&x=21&y=24

Any suggestions?

Thanx in advance,
Morpheus
