Playing DVD in WMP 10 without installing a DVD software

I'm building a PC and don;t want to load any commercial DVD player SW on it. Is there a DVD player codec I can load that will allow WMP10 to play DVD's?

TIA

well decoding mpeg-2 video and ac3 audio from inside a .mpg (aka .vob) is easy and obviously possible in free players

the thing is a dvd is more than just that. so do these filters support all the menu stuff aso?
