How to Install CCE 2.66.06 or 2.66.07.....HELP

I have been downloading the newest CCE releases ever since 2.66.01. However, the last two 2.66.06 & 2.66.07 are not installation programs but an updated for 2.66.01. I have them all stored in a CD so I can install any version I want.

However, when I try to run the update I get an error message. that reads

"CreateFile(C:\Program Files\Custom Technology\Cinema Craft Encoder SPcctsp.exe): The system can not find the file specified.(2)

the problem is that when I install any other 2.66.XX version it does not creat cctsp.exe in the folder the update wants it. Moreover, if I place the cctspt.exe where the update wants it and rename it like it wants it then it finishes the update but then when I run the executable file I get another error message that reads

"C:\Program Files\Custom Technology\Cinema Craft Encoder spcctsp.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

Please anyone tell me how to do the update to 2.66.07 and how I can do the verification like CCE says in the read me files. Here is a copy:

<< Verification >>

To verify the successful completion of update, check the md5sum values.
The md5sum of Cinema Craft Encoder SP Version 2.66.01.07 is as follows.

34c484eac1c140825fb5555834894876 *cctsp.exe

1) make sure you are not trying to update files which you have already "patched" previously.

2) Why are you even bothering to use the updaters anyway? Why not simply download the full demonstration versions from the Cinemacraft website instead of the updaters, and save yourself all the trouble you're having? Even the full versions are easily downloadable on a 56k connection.

I thought the update was only for retail versions.

cctspt.exe is the name of the trial executable (after being installed).

The update asking for cctsp.exe is consistent with it being for the retail version, I would think =)

Plus the update is larger than the whole trial.
