Problem with subtitles

When Decrypting with R4R, I have chosen two language subtitles, at the end I found in the idx file just one language. After one week I found that the problem was in vobsub.dll. When ripping the subtitles with vobsub rip, all languages are included in the idx but those same languages that were not ripped with vobsub do not show on the display. Later after uninstalling vobsub 2.23 and installing the newer version (vsfilter.dll), all subtitles ripped with vobsub rip show well on the display. So far this happened with one movie only, what's wrong?

If you search through the forums here you'll find posts on the different ways sub tracks might be referenced on the orig. DVD, including some similar experience I think. Different ways around it include using other tools like Shrink.
