The latest version of VSFilter claims to be able to apply changes to the subtitles on the fly for the AVS filter. I'm having trouble getting that working. I've got an AVS file that loads an AVI and uses the Textsub function to load a subtitle file. I then open this file in my media player, which shows the AVI with the subtitles nicely overlayed. While the video is playing, I open the subtitle file in notepad, change something, and click Save. However, the video does not reflect my changes until I close and reopen the file. Is there an option I have to set for this to work?

Bump... Does anyone know anything about this? Or if not, does anyone know where I could *get* help with this?

The file is loaded into memory, so the only way to reload the file with the new data is to simpley just re-open the file.
