Where can I get your multiplexer with "For Sony PSP" option?
Is it include of elecard oneclick encoder?

evil sony, most of this info is stored in standard .mp4 files anyways by default (video/audiotype, framerate, bitrate, width, height, creationdate), no need to store it twice in private atoms too imho...
Some parameters are stored in ISO MP4 file twice, but i agree with you about evil sony 8) And i can't found any documents which describe uuid atoms for PSP, only streams and some sources 8)

I'm having troubles even encoding video for PSP using MeGUI. I follow all the given steps, creating raw 264 video resized to 320x240, mux that with aac audio created with ffmpeg, and use atomchanger. However, when I play the video it either freezes and I have to take the battery out or it says "video cannot be played". I've tried about everything but I have a feeling the problem lies in my profile settings... What profiles do you use to make video for psp in MeGUI?

I can't really understand why anyone would want to watch a movie on a PSP. They cost about as much as their more compatible and superior DVD counterparts. Movies are better watched from a Big Screen TV or a large monitor.

OK, maybe this'll sound noobish but how do you use the AX files included in the file you posted... I found out they're directshow filters but just don't know exactly how to use them. Thanks in advance for any help and thanks for making this tool available too.

I've used the directshow filter manager http://www.softella.com/dsfm/index.en.htm to register the new filter, then you can use it with graphedit.
Tnx for the new multiplexer, I will try it immediatlery (I'm also interested in the PSP, for me it's cooler than the I-Pod ^_^!And I'm also a video-game lover!).

OK, now I feel pretty stupid :rolleyes: . I got graphedit and registered the filters and all that , have my raw .264 video file and aac audio ready, but just can't seem to figure out how to use the multiplexer within graphedit. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I have use x264 to encoded an clip (368x208,29.97fps,01:30,96k LC AAC,3949kb) and remux by elecard's mp4 multiplexer,but the result's mp4 file (3524kb) can't play.
in mediaplayer classic there no video display,and mplayer failed on this clip too.

Use "Annex B output for H.264/AVC" in Elecard MP4 Demultiplexer.

yes it's playing now.
but have an file taged as 14.985 fps and 03:01 playtime.
its playing in normal 29.97 fps and stop and orginal 01:30 and then cause mediaplayer classic crashed.
It's playing in mplayer with 14.985 fps slow rate.
I have checked "for sony PSP" option,I don't know is it caused the fps less than 30.0 will be tagged to 14.985

I don't know if it's possible to render a raw .264 on Graphedit.... I haven't ever tried it. But you can mulitplex it with Yamb and then demultiplex it and remultiplex it with the elecard multiplexer. To use graphedit load the file with file/media render and then link the filters.

GraphEdit won't allow me to render a raw .264 file.. I do have the nero filters intalled. Now even with an .mp4 video and the multiplexer, there is still room for an output... so how do you finally get to output the file?

(I'm assuming that this multiplexer has higher capabilities than mp4box and AtomChanger)

I don't know if it's this your problem, but you have to load the file writer filter (it's in the direct show filter) and type the name of your file "yourfile.mp4" (without the "").

I don't know the reason of the bad quality of the picture....
Anyway, I dunno if this multiplexer has higher capabilities, but it can allow to play AVC on PSP, I think. To make the file PSP complaint right click on the filter and check the box (there is also a box for ISMA complaint). Then you have to change the file name and transfer it on the PSP (But I can't test it, I don't have yet the PSP).

it's may generate by moonlight avc encoder,but should not encode by oneclick encoder.

OneClick compressor (I think you mean Moonlight OneClick) uses Moonlight H.264 encoder - http://www.elecard.com/products/oneclick.shtml.
The PSP files on elecard web page was encoded using Elecard H.264 encoder (not moonlight's)

Elecard encoder will be announced in near future - I think it will be just before or maybe immediately after IBC. Firstly it will be included into this application http://www.elecard.com/products/mobile_convert.shtml (btw psp clips were made with alpha version of that app)

ic. Thanks for clarifying this. Only now I noticed the AVC profiles in Recode2 are postfixed with "AVC". Obviously, PSP profile are not classified as AVC.

Already fixed, thanks! Now you can use it for Sony PSP compatible AVC encoding.
