can't view subtitles

I have an .avi-file but I can't see the subtitles. I have xvid, divx and vobsub 2.23. I've used a few videoplayers like windows player and bs-player. The option for subtitles is now unmarkable.

Seems like U have a codec or reg prob.
Try to uninstall Vobsub and install it again. And if my memory doesn't fail, I mean I remember probs with some Nvidia cards...

I re installed it but it didn't help.

What are those problems with Nvidia? I have Nvidia TNT2 videocard
