I have this dvd and in it are 3 parts of a whole movie seperated into episodes, I guess, on the dvd. Anyway, I'm having trouble seeing the subtitles of the first part. I used vobsub to rip from 1st, 2nd, 3rd parts. I can see the subs on the 2nd and 3rd, but either dvobsub is making the 1st part invisible, or something is wrong. I opened up extracted .sub in subresync and after clicking on some timecodes, I can see the text. Is there anything else I can do? I tried messing with the colors in vobsub configure, but I'm not sure what I'm doing. Parts 2 and 3 work though. I'm not too sure what's going on. I did a search, but the other post on this subject did not help.

BTW this is for an encoded avi.

I have put a link to my extracted subs file, they're small, but I know subs are in them. If anyone can figure out what's going on with these, I'd be thankful.

The timestamps are negative that's why they don't show. I just blindly resynced them starting with 00.00 and they show :)

Ooo, I see. Didn't think of that. Is there a way to recalculate the negative values quickly? Or is this a matter of calculating and replacing the numbers one at a time? Hmm, or now that I think about it, maybe the numbers are backwards? I will have to further test. Thanks for your reply. Greatly appreciate it.
