Hi, I'm confused with all this subtitle stuff. I have the PAL version of this DVD and I use DVDsanta to convert it to NTSC, it's easy and all I want to do is take the DVD (Phantom menace) and extract the full subtitle stream, not the full English stream, just the stream that includes the english words when the aliens talk. Then when I'm ready to convert it to NTSC, DVDsanta has an option to add a subtitle stream so I will include that extracted stream in the convertion.
What is the easiest way? step-by-step please :)
Thanks

The DVDsanta thing didn't work but now that I've got my .srm and .srt files which play fine in WinDVD. Can I just burn the DVD with these new files included or do I need to convert the .srt to .sub? or can I not even do this with a standalone DVD player?
Thanks
