I think i read somewhere that virtualdubmod is able to read m2v's.
You could give it a try, it's free :)

Cuttermaran.
Virtualdubmod may edit, but it'll resave as an avi, unless you want to frameserve, and re-encode.

at least what i found about Cuttermaran, this program can only cut m2v files, i dont want to cut, i want to place a picture over m2v movie, for some tine and not over all movie

did i understand you correctly
that you want to overlay a picture on the m2v for some time starting from frame x and ending on frame y?

to me that sounds like encoding that part again.
so perhaps the best way to accomplish this is to
- cut the m2v into 3 parts:
<first frame> to <frame x-1>
<frame x> to <frame y>
<frame y+1> to <last frame>
- overlay your pic with 2nd part and encode that
(e.g. avisynth & quenc)
- join the 3 parts again

Well, that's what Adobe premiere, AfterEffects, Pinnacle Studio (8 and 9), and other NLE editors can do. But sesko says Adobe doesn't import the video properly. Since that program is a veteran I'd suggest looking at what is wrong with the video, or the settings. Another place for ideas would be the NLE forum.

i remux with vobedit by celid, yes i can open them with other programs, but some says correct lenght, some wrong

The m2v file probably contains more than one end_sequence_header. Most programs consider the first of these headers to be the end of the video.
Are you demuxing more than one VobID? If so, try demuxing just the VobID you want to edit.

VobEdit does not demultiplex menus, only the main video, even if you open VTS_01_0.vob

i wonder with which program supreme group edit mv2 in menu of woodsman dvd-r. This is one good job. They add custom button to subtitle menu and the button is over movie too.

With vobedit you can demux the menu by cel ID, then you have to find the right cel.vob you want to edit and load it up in vobedit and strip the m2v out. If the time is not correct you have the wrong cel or as mpucoder sad contains more than one end_sequence_header you could remove it (the end_sequence_header) with restream. Adobe premiere should display correct. But if the remux would still work ?? Well trail and error, have fun.

i found out that virtualdub mod opens m2v files, and you can add picture to it with logo filter but you can only save file to avi, not to m2v.That is bad

reboot

Use vdubmod and frameserve it.

I'm not saying that I know of the Supreme release you refer to, but here's how to do the editing: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=92914 (check both guides referred to in that thread)

BTW, you might wanna check out rule no. 6 of the forum rules (http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm) before any of the mods slaps your fingers!! ;)
