double subtitles in divx/xvid

Hello! (...excuse for my bad english...)

Is possible to have a double subtitles when I create a divx/xvid files ?
I want to have the same effect of PowerDVD software.
When (...with PowerDVD...) I ability secondary subtitles in a DVD film
in the videoscreen appear in the same time double subtitles:
in low part a type of subtitles (...example: italian subtitles)
in top part another type of subtitles (...example: spanish subtitles)

Is possible to have the same effect in the divx/xvid file too ?
How to do?

Hi,
when you create a xvid , never hardburn the subs in the avi.
Just create the avi with one audio track and no subs.
Then rip the subs into srt(or idx) and use vobsub to display them when watching. This give you the ability of switching between your different subs. The avi does not contain subs so you 'll have your subs external.
If you realy want to mux your subs in the avi then choose mkv or .divx container.

mkv is (much) more than muxing subs to 'avi' ;)
.divx ... khmm ... only if u go for 'divx hw'.
