Problems with DVDLab and importing video

I'm trying to add subs to a movie and following the guide by Matrix. When import the video files i get this error message for 2 of the 3 files Files cannot be imported: --Cause: Not a 11172-2 or 13818-2 video stream --Bad or missing headers --Use Tools to fix headers

When i try using tools to fix headers nothing happens it says " nothing to fix" Anyone can help me ?

If ur proggy is up to date, try rewriting GOPs istead(do it on a copied file, not the original).
All this means bad encoding of mpv file (or m2v, it's the same).

Hi, I found this solution on the pcwelt site:

1. Download mpg2cut2.exe ( http://www.geocities.com/rocketjet4/ )

(For me, now, the latest alpha version worked just fine for this purpose).

2. In mpg2cut2: Unmux ALL

(I.e., you use the downloaded program to unmux all streams. In fact, you only need a m2v and a m2a file, but the other option is unmux audio only).

3. In DVDLab: Import filename.m2v

(Now it should work importing the video. If this does not work, then probably your stream is no SVCD or no DVD MPEG2 stream. Yes! This means that with minimal effort you can put SVCDs on DVD.)

4. Transcode filename.m2a

(If that is the case, namely that it is no LPCM at 48000 or not mpa at 48000. LPCM preserves the original audio track, but the compilation of DVDs with LPCM traks is rather slow. mpa is a lossy format, but should work beter with certain DVD players which cannot handle LPCMD properly, e.g. Yamada DVX6600.)

5. Now all should be ok, namely, if you began with a mpeg2 file like SVCD or DVD format, you should be able to compile your DVD. Otherwise, this is not the solution for your problem, since the file you started with is improper for DVDs.
