subtitles help

I need to add a new subtitle to a DVD. Can you point out a software that could help me do that? Something like copy/paste the original, then edit the new one, or something alike.

Hi & welcome to the board,

go to the subtitles forum and read the stickies ... there are very specific instructions for what you want to do.
