View Full Version : Can selectable subtitle apply in hifi set????

I got a hifi set, which can play the .avi file.
so, i would like to know, can i add the selectable subtitle inside the avi file and play with the hifi set?
If that is can work, pls give me the direction.

I had try vobsub , AviMuxGui and vidomi b4....but it cannot show the selectable subtitle in hifi set, just can display in pc's player only.

If i play dvd with the hifi set,the selectable subtitle is work.

This question should probably go into the hardware players section ... anyway, there are players which can show selectable subs, just not those muxed into an avi. Keep it separate (as e.g. srt), and several players (from Philips, Kiss etc.) will be able to display these. The experts can be found in the hw player forum.

NB: in case I wasn't clear on this: not all divx-capable hw players are able to display selectable subtitles.
