Greetings,
I have an avi-file running with 23.976 fps and external subs with idx/sub files.
I need to convert the subs to srt for standalone support (Philips DVP 630).
When converting with SubResync it's perfectly sync, but when using SubRip, the time-codes in the resulting srt-file are totally messed up compared to the SubResync output (checked it in a text-editor).
The thing is that I'd prefer SubRip for doing this 'cause the feature of creating character-matrices is quite nice imho.
I noticed that SubRip shows Mode "30 FPS" (in the upper right corner) after opening the idx-file. Of course I set it to 23.976 in the output-setting before saving, but the timecodes totally do not match in any way :(
Any idea? :)
