Can someone help me I cant' get my subtitles to turn off. I created a dvd from a ogm file with 2 audio track and one subtitle. I used tmpgenc and VirtualDubmod to create the right files. Then I used Ifoedit to author the dvd then burn. My subtitles stay on can't turn them off with my dvd player remote or computer powerdvd. I tried using Ifoedit Pre Command setup to (Set STN) Set Sub picture Stream NR : Stream to 0 and still they are still on. I also tried pgcedit can't figure out the guide on Doom. When I used it there is no break point I can find. I tried other ogm to dvd coversion I made that had subtitles and still the same problem. Is it the ogm file that is the problem. Any help with this will help me alot.

open your vobs in dvd2avi , see if you can see any subs
then subs are hardcoded.
You have to redo the tmpeg process without the subs if you want to get rid of them.

So is there no on/off setup for the subtitles. I can use VirtualDubMod to demux the subtitles and then use TMPGENC to process it. I would like to be able to turn the subtitles on/off on the DVD because of the Japanese and English language.

demux your movie into elementary streams
Convert only the movie to a m2v file.
Then add your subs later with ifoedit author.
(the softsubs way)
