basically easy, but a bit time-consuming...

At least 2 methods:

Style: Align1,Verdana,24,16777215,0,0,0,-1,0,1,2,2,1,30,30,30,0,0
Style: Align2,Courier New,24,16777215,0,0,0,-1,0,1,2,2,2,30,30,30,0,0

[Events]
Format: Marked, Start, End, Style, Name, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, Effect, Text
;; if not monospace
Dialogue: Marked=0,0:00:00.00,0:00:05.00,Align1,,0180,0000,0000,,- qux qux qux qux blah\N- foo bar
;; if monospace
Dialogue: Marked=0,0:00:10.00,0:00:15.00,Align2,,0000,0000,0000,,- qux qux qux qux blah\N- foo bar\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h\h

Thank you! I'll try.
But is there any software can do this? Medusa or Sub Station Alpha?

Well, if you speak Perl etc., you can use a small script for that...
SSA doesnt support this kind of styling (which I once called "nested" sub alignment) by itself.
Probably, USF will support it, intrinsically.

This is exactly what you want to do, right?
