MaestroSBT crashing

I used Subtitle tool to convert .srt to .ssa, and when I try and use maestroSBT to convert from .ssa to .sub, it keeps crashing. Also: this is the guide i was following.

Whenever I click preview or generate all I get is a build error.
Any advice?

I'm trying to make .sub files to put into an svcd using winsubmux.

A bit yes, but like I said, maestroSBT keeps crashing, and giving me a build error. That was my main question. I've got the .ssa and when I follow the guide to use msbt it always crashes.
